A resin bound surface is only as good as what’s underneath it. On new ground, where there’s no tarmac or concrete to bond to, that means building a proper base first.

That’s where VubaMac comes in. It’s Vuba’s polyurethane binder for a permeable base layer, and the decorative resin bound finish bonds on top so the two work as one surface. As approved Vuba contractors, we install it across Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

Questions about VubaMac bases

Do I need a VubaMac base for a resin bound driveway?

It depends on what’s there now. Sound existing tarmac or concrete can often be resurfaced after we’ve assessed it. On new ground, you need a proper permeable base first. We check which applies on the site visit.

Is VubaMac only for driveways?

No. We use it under driveways, patios, terraces, garden pathways, and pool decks and surrounds. The build is different for each, depending on what the area has to carry.

Does a resin bound surface drain water?

Yes, the surface and base are permeable, so rain drains through. We check that the ground underneath can take the water before we start.

What warranty comes with a VubaMac base?

VubaMac carries a 15-year product warranty, and our installation is covered by 24 months’ workmanship cover. Ask us for the full terms when we quote.

How do I clean and look after resin bound surfacing?
