Resin Bound & Epoxy Flooring Marbella | Marbella Lux Resina
MARBELLA & COSTA DEL SOL'S PREMIUM RESIN BOUND, EPOXY, PU & QUARTZ SPECIALISTS

Our Vision & Mission
Marbella Lux Resina designs and installs premium resin surfaces for homes and businesses across Marbella, Estepona, Benahavís, Mijas, Fuengirola, San Pedro Alcántara and Sotogrande. We work across four core systems: resin bound surfacing (internal and external), polyurethane (PU) decorative and non-decorative systems, epoxy decorative and non-decorative flooring, and flake and quartz systems. We price for the standard of work we deliver, not for the lowest number on the page, and we make no apology for that. Every project starts with a full site assessment and correct substrate preparation, because a resin floor is only as durable as the surface it's bonded to. That's the difference between a floor that lasts fifteen years and one that fails in two.

Certified Quality You Can Rely On
Built on standards, not shortcuts. All of our systems — resin bound, epoxy, polyurethane, flake and quartz — are installed to the same standard, regardless of budget or project size. Our resin bound systems are BBA-certified and SUDS-compliant, engineered to drain properly and perform in the heavy, sudden rainfall the Costa del Sol sees each autumn and winter. Our epoxy and PU systems are selected for UV stability, chemical resistance and slip performance suited to the Mediterranean climate — chosen for how they perform, not for what's easiest to source that week.

FAQs
Is resin bound flooring suitable for Marbella's climate?
Yes — resin surfaces are UV-stable, heat-resistant, and won’t crack or fade under intense Mediterranean sun the way some other surfaces can. The permeable design also handles sudden downpours well, preventing pooling around pools, terraces, and driveways.
How long does resin-bound surfacing last?
With proper installation, resin bound and epoxy systems typically last 15–25 years with minimal maintenance. Longevity depends on the system used, ground preparation, and traffic/usage levels — something we assess during your free consultation.
Do you offer commercial as well as residential installations?
Yes. Alongside residential driveways, patios, and pool surrounds, we install resin and epoxy flooring for commercial spaces — retail units, offices, hospitality venues, and outdoor commercial areas across Marbella and the Costa del Sol.
Can resin bound be used indoors?
Yes — while resin bound is most commonly used outdoors for its permeable, SUDS-compliant drainage, it can also be installed internally with a sealed finish. This is a good option if you want a consistent stone-look surface flowing from an outdoor patio into an internal space, though indoors it won’t need (or use) the permeable drainage properties it’s known for outside.
Can epoxy resin be used outdoors?
No. Due to its sensitivity to UV exposure, epoxy resin is not suitable for exterior use. For outdoor spaces, we recommend our resin-bound systems, which are specifically designed for long-term outdoor performance.
What is PU (polyurethane) flooring and where is it used?
PU flooring is a highly durable, flexible resin coating known for its resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and UV exposure without yellowing or fading over time. Its flexibility makes it less prone to cracking under thermal movement or heavy impact compared to some rigid coatings, which is why it’s often specified for spaces with heavier wear — commercial kitchens, warehouses, workshops, and high-traffic retail or hospitality floors. It’s also available in a wide range of colours and finishes (matte, satin, gloss), so it works for both purely functional spaces and areas where appearance matters.
